Ceramic Strip Heaters

Marathon Ceramic Insulated Strip Heaters feature a 304SS sheath and are capable of temperatures of 1200° F at watt densities up to 40 W per square inch.
Ceramic strip heaters are available with or without mounting tabs and can be terminated with screw terminals, wire leads, stainless steel braided leads, or stainless steel flex hose.

Marathon's Ceramic Strip Heaters offer high temperature
performance in a rugged, contamination resistant stainless steel sheath.
They are bolt-in replacements for Chromalox, GE, Watlow and other strip heaters.

Performance Max. Temperature = 1200oF. Max watt density = 75 watts/linear inch, 120 watts if 2 sides are in contact with heated part.
Dimensions 1-1/2" wide, 5/16" or 3/8" thick, up to 72" long.  5/16" X 1/2" mounting slots (center to center = O.A.L. less 3/4").
Electrical Max voltage: 300 volts standard, 480 volts special. Max Amperage: Leads =12amps; Terminals = 20 amps.

Ceramic Strip Heaters can also be terminated with convoluted conduit

Convoluted Conduit: Convoluted conduit is commonly used with Gala style heaters. Unlike standard S/S conduit, convoluted conduit is sealed and provides excellent moisture protection.  This also forms a positive seal against contamination entering the heater.  The convoluted conduit is brazed directly to the heater forming a strong junction.
